Dr. Arlianne Scott Founder, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Arlianne Scott is a physical therapist, educator, and the founder of Artistry in Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness. She specializes in helping active adults of all levels get back to the sports and activities they love, without nagging injuries-- whether it's working out,  lifting their kiddo, or hiking the Sandias. As a gym-goer, former collegiate dancer, and avid figure skater, she understands first-hand the bliss movement brings to life, and strives to transform the lives of others through the fulfillment of movement.

We are told too often by medical practitioners of our limitations and the things we can’t do. Dr. Arlianne is on a mission to change that. She believes that everyone should be able to perform basic human maintenance on themselves, and that taking an active role in your rehabilitation and performance enhancement is key to success.

She peels away layers of an injury or nagging issue, finding the root cause of the problem. This allows her to not only help guide you through resolving your pain, but improving your movement quality and resolving dysfunction, so that you can have an understanding of how to take care of yourself and remain pain-free long-term.

She finds great joy: weight lifting, dancing, figure skating, spending time with her husband, and savoring dark chocolate. She understands first-hand the bliss movement brings to life, and strives to transform the lives of others through the fulfillment of movement.

The world of passive treatments, pills, arbitrary surgeries, and useless cortisone shots is over. Get ready to move!

Kristle Kugler Client Experience Coordinator

Welcome our new Client Experience Coordinator, Kristle Kugler. With a strong background in customer service, communication, marketing, and community involvement, she is passionate about creating positive, lasting connections with every client. Her past experience, paired with her positive attitude and dedication to continuous learning—makes her a perfect fit for the Artistry in Motion team.

Kristle is a native New Mexican, growing up in Farmington. She holds a BA in Communication and Psychology from UNM, where she also met her husband. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, doing yoga, walking, and she recently discovered a love for skiing. She loves photography, and dabbles in hobbies like cross stitching, coloring, and various arts and crafts. Kristle loves all things New Mexico, from the Lobos and balloons to the sunsets and chile. And she is always up for a fresh margarita!

For nearly 20 years, Kristle dedicated herself to staying home with her kids. Now, with her son attending UNM and her daughter in middle school, she is excited to bring her talents and experiences into a professional setting again. Kristle was a Zumba instructor for several years and taught at gyms around Albuquerque. She has also contributed her talents to working as a substitute teacher, taking on leadership roles in various parent associations, and volunteering at community events. Her natural ability to build and maintain relationships is key to her role, and she is dedicated to ensuring that every client at Artistry in Motion feels valued and supported.

Kristle started as a client herself at Artistry in Motion this past summer because she was tired of treating aches and pains at a surface level and not getting to the root of things. She learned later in life that pain does not mean that you need to rest but instead, that you need to MOVE! Kristle is passionate about our clients taking ownership in healing their bodies and about being a part of changing the landscape of healthcare in New Mexico!

The Artistry in Motion Difference

Founded by a physical therapist with knowledge and experience in weightlifting, strength and conditioning, and performing arts; we go beyond just the quick fix, taking the time to perform a thorough evaluation and movement assessment to determine the underlying dysfunctions that lead to injury-- not just what structure is causing you pain.

This allows us to give you the tools to enhance your bodies performance and correct the issue so it never returns.

At Artistry in Motion, you will always spend 100% of your time with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. Our standard is a 1:1 ratio of patients to doctors, with highly individualized patient care, unlike the traditional insurance based model, where it is typically a 3:1 (or more!) ratio.

Due to the nature of the healthcare industry, which has begun to reimburse less and less, we are out of network with all insurance companies. This model allows our practitioners to focus on quality patient care and YOUR needs and goals without being dictated by insurance rules and regulations. This also allows for transparency of pricing. You will never receive a bill from us weeks or months after a treatment session.

Here at Artistry in Motion, we believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This means that we would much rather focus on pre-screening, prevention, and diagnosis of impairments as well as maintenance of general health and wellness, rather than be reactive to injury.

Our goal is to make physical therapy accessible and approachable to the community by becoming the leading providers of choice by bridging the gap between injury prevention, movement optimization, rehabilitative and wellness services, and athletics.

Whether you are an athlete progressing towards peak performance, or simply want to eliminate a nagging pain so that you can enjoy an active lifestyle once again, Artistry in Motion is here to help you return to pain-free movement, optimize your body’s movement and performance, and dominate your goals!

Humans are designed to be IN MOTION, and move well -- as a team, we can make that happen.

Are you ready to get back to the life you love?

Artistry in Motion Mission and Vision

“IF YOU HAVE A BODY, YOU’RE AN ATHLETE.”  - Bill Bowerman

Artistry in Motion was founded on the belief that time is the most valuable resource that we have. You’ll never get the time spent dealing with pain, missing out on activities back. You won’t get the countless hours needlessly spent at a healthcare practitioner’s office back either. Healthcare quality is at an all time low. You deserve more than an overloaded doctor with 3+ other patients in an hour.

Our MISSION is to empower our community with the tools and knowledge they need to live a high performance, pain free life. If you like to do CrossFit, we'll help you stay healthy while you train. If you love golf, we'll get you back on the course, keep you there, AND help you improve your performance. If you're a runner and have aspirations of doing your first half marathon, we'll help you accomplish that goal!

Our VISION is to bridge the gap between rehab and athletics, to be a resource for our community, as well as coaches, athletes, and trainers around the globe

The Artistry in Motion Promise
At Artistry in Motion, we promise:

1) To value your time
You'll be seen on time, every time.

2) To be 100% transparent
You will never get a surprise bill from us 3 months later, as is very common with other physical therapy practices.

3) To provide one-on-one care for the full visit, every visit.
You will be taken through your unique, individualized plan of care directly by your doctor, not a rehab tech in college or front desk personnel.

4) To educate you
Our experts give you the knowledge to take an active role in your health and life.
